Generally, this depends on whether you use insulated spigots. Under Australian safety standards, metal components within 1.25m of the pool water often require "earthing" by a licensed electrician to prevent electrical hazards.

These are designed to bypass the need for earthing, which can significantly reduce the overall cost and complexity of your job. How do I handle slopes or stairs in my pool area?

This is a key requirement to meet Australian pool safety standards. While it is very strong, we recommend being careful during the installation, especially when placing panels into the spigots, to avoid hitting the edges on hard concrete, as the corners are the most sensitive part of the panel.
